This app by BIOMIDS Inc. uses your facial biometric with liveness detection to eliminate the need for user name/passwords when authenticating into other apps. Purchasing Mobius by consumers from the appstore is only useful when an app developer has first enabled their app using the MobiusEngine SDK.

Our first developer partner is App77 and their pwSafe app. Users can easily biometrically enable this app using Mobius. Purchasing Mobius once will allow the user to run it with all BIOMIDS partner apps.

We will list other partner apps that have been enabled using the MobiusEngine SDK as they come online. App developers interested in adding the MobiusEngine SDK for free to their apps can contact us at www.biomids.com.

Notes:
In order to use a partner app with Mobius, the app must first be registered. Here are the instructions for pwSafe (other partner apps would operate in a similar fashion):
1. Launch pwSafe.
2. Open your safe.
3. Tap the gear-like button on the bottom (and left, if on an iPad). If you cant see a gear-like button, then tap "Groups" on the top left to go back to the groups screen (iPhone).
4. Tap "Register with Mobius".
5. The Mobius facial recognition app will open. Follow the on-screen instructions to learn your face and register a fallback password.
6. When complete, control will switch back to pwSafe.

To test it, tap the padlock button on the bottom left to close your safe. Then, tap on it and, instead of entering your password, tap "Unlock with Mobius" and look at the camera. You want to blink or smile for Mobius to detect the image as a live face (in opposed to a photo).

Ive been using Mobius with PwSafe and DropBox and it seems to work pretty slick. Makes logging in to unlock my safes a lot easier and quicker. Hopefully this will prove to be reliable in the long run.

I use this with pwsafe. It can be a real time saver opening the safes. Needs lighting that is similar to when you trained it in your face. Live checking low is basically a check that you blink. Overall I am happy with this app and would recommend it.

Some bad moments

I just bought this app to work with pwsafe. I trained the the app and then opened the apps section. Pwsafe doesnt show up. Any help from the developer would be welcome.

I set this up on Password Safe. It works great. The only reason it is not 5 stars is I cant find a list of aps that use this software.

I love pwSafe but it can be a pain to get open sometimes, such as in a bumpy vehicle. This works great. By the way, in case you dont like to read directions, you train Mobius to recognize your face and then open pwSafe with your password like normal, then register that safe with Mobius. If you use a master password to open the program you will still have to type that in, but you can use your face to get into your actual safes. So far, no problems at all.

I got this to work with pwsafe. It works great! Saves me time entering my rather long password. I trained the app in different light conditions and backgrounds. Very glad I got this app.

U have to open PWSafe and then go the the gear to register it with Mobius

App developers take note! This app learns quickly to recognise and authorise...it is brilliant and needs to be incorporated into other, security dependent, applications. Obviously, Apple needs to consider how this can be applied to many of its own security needs; iTunes being an obvious application.
